I graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a BS in Human Development and Family Studies with a Child Development focus. I also have a degree in Scandinavian Studies.
Early Childhood
I worked for three years as a childcare provider at the Princeton Club West. I also worked for two years as an assistant Pre-Kindergarten teacher at St. James School in downtown Madison. Additionally, I have experience in early childhood education through practical and research internships at the UW. I am passionate about working with young children and helping them to learn and grow in a healthy, creative, and caring environment.
Personal Information
I grew up in the Madison area and have lived here all my life. My favorite hobby is travelling! I have studied abroad in Germany and Denmark and learned both languages, and I also know a bit of Spanish and American Sign Language. I love spending time with my family and friends, reading and going to concerts.

I like reading books and going to different places. I enjoy working with children because they are a joy to be with. Being with children gives me the opportunity to see and experience again lifes simple pleasures with out the pressures/stresses that we usually have as adults.

I started babysitting when I was 12 years old and my first job while still in High School was at a preschool. I have always loved working with children and the little ones definitely hold a special place in my heart. I have been the preschool teacher, Sunday school teacher, after school teacher, camp counselor and many other titles, but in the end I just want to work with the children.

I grew up on a small farm on the central coast of California with six younger brothers and sisters.
My favorite thing to do is spend time with friends and free time is often spent outdoors. I have been
teaching myself to sew the last few years and hope to be good some day.

I have been caring for children from a very young age. I taught tumbling to children ages 2 years and up. I was a camp counselor at Sea World for children ages 4-6 years, and have served in the nursery in my church's children's ministry.

I was born and raised in a small town in Illinois , and moved to Madison in 2009. I love spending time working out, drawing and spending time with friends.
