Quality and Value We are proud to offer a well-rounded summer camp, one in
which your child will experience several excursions a week, educational fun, healthy
meals and snacks. We have packed each day with many opportunities to grow
physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Our passion for fun and laughter keeps
our students coming back.
Diversity We accept children regardless of age, race, color, national origin, sex, creed,
political persuasion, ancestry, or handicapping condition if an opening is available in
the requested age group.
Trained Leadership Our summer program is highly successful because of our quality
staff. Our staff are selected because of their energetic, outgoing, and fun-loving
personalities, their ability to positively guide young children, and their desire to make
a difference! Staff members are required to have completed a School-Age Certification
course or equivalent and a S.A.C. training program. Based on this training and our
stringent screening process, we are happy to say we have the best staff you could ever
want for your child!
Spectacular Facility/Classrooms Located inside the west side Princeton Club, we have access to the gymnasium, rooftop soccer field and tennis courts. Each room is designed to help enhance learning in specific areas. Our facility is set up for theatrical activities, karaoke, art, reading, foosball, Apple computers, Wii, DDR and much more.
How long can I camp? Each of our camps are designed as a week long adventure with its own unique theme, activities and field trips. Campers can pick the session(s) they would like to camp-out with us, or they can stay for the entire summer!
Check-in/Check-out Our facility uses a secured code-access entry system for check-in and check-out procedures which ensures a safe environment for your child. Between 6:00 - 6:30am your child should be brought to Kids Junction preschool office each mornin
g by a responsible person. After 6:30am check your child(ren) in at the school age office before dropping them off with their class. Each night check them out at the front desk before you take them home.
Closing Junction Square closes at 6:00pm. If you cannot be here by that time, please make arrangements to have your child(ren) picked up by another responsible person. Forms are available at the office to inform us of an alternate pick-up person. (Please tell them they will need to bring identification.) There is a late charge of $5.00 for the first five minutes
after 6:00pm and $1.00 per minute after that. The late charge will
automatically be billed to your account.
Field Trips You will receive monthly field trip calendars for the summer. Please note these calendars will be subject to change throughout the summer and we will keep you posted of any changes. We ask children to be here at least 15 minutes prior to departure. For your convenience, the monthly calendars will include departure and return times. Field trips are not optional unless your child is being picked up early. If your child will not be going on a specific field trip because you are picking them up early, be sure to let the office know (preferably in writing) and we will keep them at Junction Square. Field trips are staffed with a lower teacher-to-child ratio in order to maintain a safe environment.
Health Any restrictions to your childs activities, due to health reasons, should be noted on the Emergency and Health History Form. If your child will need medication while in our care, please fi ll out a MedicationForm (located in the offi ce) and leave the form and the medication with the offi ce staff. Be sure that all medications are labeled clearly with your childs name. All medications must come to us in their original containers. At no time should a child have medication with them.
Parent Communication Summer calendars will be available with fi eld trips, theme and enrichment activities listed. Any changes will be posted at the front desk.
Sunscreen Kids Junction has available Rocky Mountain Sunscreen SPF 45 for all children.
Jerseys Each Summer Adventure Camper is required to wear a Summer Adventure jersey on field trips. The jersey remains at Kids Junction and will be washed after each use.
What to Bring/Wear Due to the variety of events happening throughout our day we ask that the children wear athletic shoes while they are with us. Please be sure to label everything that your child brings with him/her. (i.e. coats, books, ball gloves, etc.) All articles brought to the center are your childs responsibility.
