Ms. Amanda - 4 Year Old Program Facilitator

Education
I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Edgewood College.

Early Childhood
I have surrounded myself with children since I was thirteen years old. I have worked at Kids Junction since 2005 teaching in the 4 Year Old program.

 

Personal Information
I am originally from West Salem, Wisconsin. My husband and I were married in 2006 and we had our first child in 2007. Besides teaching, my family is the love of my life.

Education
I have an education degree from UW-Whitewater, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education with a minor in Spanish. I have taken continuing education courses in the areas of Early Childhood and Developmental Curriculums.

Early Childhood
I have instructed children in K4 and K5 classrooms for the past 28 years. I taught Kindergarten in Illinois for eighteen years and for seven years I taught Kindergarten at a private Christian School here in Madison.

Personal Information
I have raised two daughters, and am looking forward to being a grandmother. I enjoy keeping up on the latest childrens books and craft projects, as they keep me prepared for my school children.

Education
I have completed a certification in Child Development and have taken classes at UW Eau Claire. I also have an Associated Degree from MATC.

Early Childhood
Over the last fourteen years my life has centered around children in a variety of ways . My areas of expertise and experience encompass special education, summer camp program director, after school program director, recreational coordinator, as well as, dance instruction and volunteering.

Personal Information:
I am originally from Mississippi. My family moved to Madison when I was a young child. I enjoy movies, exercising and cooking.
