Education

I acquired my CDA (Child Development Associate) in early childhood from Corning Community College in Corning, NY in 2001.

 

Early Childhood

I have been a family daycare provider in my own home for twenty-four years, registered through the New York State Office of Children and Family Services as a Family Day Care. I provided care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age.

 

Personal Information

I was born and raised in the Finger Lakes Region of Western New York. My husband, Bruce and I have been married for twenty-five years. We have 3 daughters, who are independent, one son who is a sophomore in high school as well as a granddaughter and grandson. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and have always loved babies, children and people in general. I also enjoy helping others through my home based business which is very fulfilling. I enjoy life and I love to laugh.

I have my Assistant Teacher preschool certification and certification for Infant and Toddler care.

 

Early Childhood
I have been working with infants and toddlers since I was old enough to volunteer to help in my church nursery. I have spent time teaching in each classroom at Kids Junction over the past 2 years and have come to love all the children dearly.

 

Personal Information
I was born in Ohio but have spent the majority of my life in Madison. I enjoy spending my off time reading books, spending time with friends and family and playing with my cats Riku and Pan.
